Scott is accomplished in all phases of established and start-up business, marketing and sales, service, operations, turnarounds, acquisitions and partnerships development. His ability to create breakthrough opportunities that deliver significant top and bottom line results in domestic and worldwide operations, and proven results in leading and integrating award winning technology into new and existing markets and mission critical programs. Named on 3 US Patents. Scott’s senior management experience includes medical devices, systems and supplies, electro-optics systems, enterprise software for CRM, ERP, SaaS and operations management, and consumer marketing.
Scott is a hands-on results oriented executive. He has led both large and small companies in medical, high technology and IT markets while working for Philips Medical, 3M, Alaris, and three startup companies. With over 35 years of business experience in developing new and breakthrough products, he is a proven performer in creating and navigating significant growth in complex business environments.
Through his career Scott has also led and managed the development of key partnerships and rapid expansion of business including deals with Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, Cardiac Pacemakers, Microsoft, IBM, Intel and Compaq.
Scott’s work has been recognized by numerous independent industry analysts including Frost and Sullivan, Computer World and KLAS. He was named the outstanding sales and marketing leader at Philips Medical for doubling the Surgery and General X-Ray business.
Scott’s entrepreneurial experience includes being a key member of the original Nike Air Jordan launch team, founding SuperCat Catamarans and contributing substantially to Instromedix growth from start up through acquisition.
Having grown up in Portland Oregon, Scott earned his BS in Economics from Lewis and Clark College and then went on to earn his MS in Finance from Purdue University in Indiana.
