Steve has over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership roles in high tech software and hardware companies that deliver products and services to domestic and international Fortune 500 class companies. He has held executive level sales and marketing positions at both public and private companies, including Gould, Applied Microsystems, General Software and most recently Bsquare. His past roles have included being a key executive in the turnaround team that lead to a successful IPO for a manufacturing company, as a consultant helping software companies focus on growth and exit strategies for the principal owners, and in business development creating a successful engineering services business within an existing products company.
As a sales leader he has recruited and developed a number of successful sales teams, driving significant growth both domestically and in international markets. He has experience setting up both outside and inside sales organizations, and has also worked extensively with indirect and VAR channels worldwide.
From a technology perspective Steve has spent a large part of his career working with companies that create connected devices and the software that supports them, from hand held/mobile devices to sophisticated pieces of industrial and telecommunications equipment.
Steve holds Bachelors and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Reading University, UK.
